Shooting Standards

Upon successfully completing the core curriculum of Duke Defense—Pistol 1, Pistol 2, Rifle 1, and Rifle 2—you qualify to challenge your skills further. This is your invitation to test your proficiency with both pistols and rifles in our Shooting Standards program. This unique opportunity not only allows you to demonstrate your timed shooting skills but also to earn the esteemed “Certified Shooter” Certificate upon passing all the timed standards. Achieving this certification opens the door to our advanced competition courses, which we are excited to introduce soon.

Gear:

• Quality semi-auto pistol
• Outside the waistband kydex holster with retention.
• Shooting belt or sturdy belt to support.
• 3 magazines
• 2 magazine pouches
• 100 rounds minimum
• AR platform rifle
• Reddot or scope w/1x power
• Rifle sling
• 3 magazines min

• Eye and ear protection
